The Famous Jeonju Bibimbap in South Korea

Bibimbap is rice served warm under a piece of raw beef, sprouts, spinach, crown daisy flowers, leaves, ferns, Chinese bell flower roots, water celery, raw eggs, and shiitake mushrooms. Entire material is mixed with gochujang (spicy pepper and soybean paste). This popular food cuisine is representing Jeolla-do with flavor and incredible colors.

A smaller mountain is very broad and extends throughout the three provinces, Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do as well. Deogyusan National Park provides incredible views of the Valley Mujugucheondong whose length is 30 kilometers. In this valley there Muju Ski Resort, which is the largest ski in Korea. Gwangju National Museum is the place where the Chinese ceramic collection reclaimed from old Chinese merchant ship that sank 600 years in the sea of Sinan.

Damyang, located 22 km north of Gwangju, is the central processing and handicraft bamboo. Damyang Bamboo Museum is the world’s first museum dedicated to store a collection of bamboo.

Tourist attractions and other museums like the Field Victory Hwangtohyeon, Gochangeupseong Fortress, the dolmen sites in the area and Gochang Hwasun, and the Museum of Calligraphy Gangam add character to the history and literature of this province.

Jindo Island, located 350 kilometers south of Seoul, visitors can watch the Korean version of the Miracles of the Prophet Moses. Sea between the coastal village of Hoedong-ri Small Island of Jindo Island and nearby Modo split for about one hour twice a year in early May and again in mid-June, leaving a path passable, with 2.8 kilometers long and 40 meters wide. Jindo Island is also famous for has a native Korean breed of dog, Jindogae, which is designated as Natural Monument No. 53.
